DO LETTER TO CPMG WITH COPY TO DAP SENT ON PAYMENT OF PENSION WITH LIFE CERTIFICATE
Dear Sir,
This is regarding nonpayment of pensions to
pensioners in some divisions like TENALI, MASULIPATNAM & ANAKAPALLI etc on
the plea of non submission of life certificate in time. In our Department
pensioners are living in remote areas settling after retirement. They have to
submit life certificate in the month of November. We are not disputing this. But
in some divisions insisting submission of life certificates online only,
because of this some pensioners could not submit life certificates in time. Due
to this pensions were not drawn and paid to pensioners. Certificates submitted
manually were not accepted at S.O level and insisting them to submit directly
at H.O, which is not correct. Life certificates submitted manually are also to
be accepted as per rules. But unfortunately this was totally ignored and number
of pensioners is denied payment of pension and intimating them that pension of
both the months will be paid in December. Thus pensioners are facing problem
with this attitude.
As such we
request the CPMG to issue instructions for payment of pension immediately after
submission of life certificate either by online or manual. We hope that CPMG
will examine the issue and immediate instructions will be issued for settling
the issue and payment of pensions immediately.
