PENSION FORMS SIMPLIFIED – AMENDMENT TO CCS PENSION RULES 1972 – AFFIDAVITS HAVE BEEN DONE AWAY WITH – SELF ATTESTATION INTRODUCED

Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare has come up with a new pension form with an aim to simplify Processing of Pension. Affidavits which were to be submitted by Pensioner have been done away with.
While Special change is being made only on Form-5, Self-attestation has been introduced in many of the pension papers as per revised forms
The information to be filled in by retiring government employees is restricted to their name, address and bank account details.
In addition, employees mobile number and e-mail id if available is also being collected for ease of correspondence in future.

NOTIFICATION
G.S.R ……… In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 and clause (5) of article 148 of the Constitution and after consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India in relation to persons serving in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972, namely
1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2014.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972, for Form 3, Form 5, Form 7, Form 8, Form 10, Form 11, Form 12, Form 13, Form 14, Form 18, Form 19, Form 20, Form 21, Form 22 and Form 24, the following Forms shall respectively be substituted, namely-

Note: The principal rules were published vide number S.O.934, dated the 1SI April, 1972. The Fourth Edition of the rules corrected up to July, 1988 was published in the year of 1988.

AGB MEETING OF BCPC HELD 



AT NEW DELHI ON 22,02.2014

The AGB of Bharath Central Pensioners Confederation [BCPC] was hel 
today under the chairmanship of Comrade S.C.Maheswari President of BCPC as well as the Secretary General of Bharath Pensioners Samaj [BPS]. Comrade S.K.Vyas the Secretary General of BCPC placed a report for the consideration of the Governing Council and the same was unanimously adopted by the Council. As per the review there were 33 Pensioners Organisations affiliated to BCPC and out of which 25 have renewed their affiliation. Four Associations have newly affiliated with BCPC including our All India Postal & RMS Pensioners Association. As on date there are 29 affiliated Pensioners Associations in the BCPC.
It has been decided by the AGB to constitute a Sub-Committee for writing the Memorandum to be submitted to the 7th CPC on the demands of Pensioners. The Sub-Committee will be formed with all Pensioners Organisations after approaching all of them. The President and Secretary General viz., Comrades S.C.Maheswari and S.K.Vyas will be in the sub-committee on behalf of the BCPC. The affiliated Pensioners Organisations will submit their view points to the Secretary General for incorporating in the memorandum. The draft will be subsequently placed for consideration of all organisations. Attempts will be made to enlist the unity of all Pensioners Organisations so that a single common memorandum goes before the Pay Commission on common issues.

A new list of Office Bearers to the BCPC has been unanimously elected in the AGBl. Comrade S.C.Maheswari of Bharat Pensioners Samaj [BPS] is elected as the Chairman and Comrade S.K.Vyas of NCCPA is elected as the Secretary General. Among others Comrade R.L.Bhattacharjee of NCCPA is elected as Vice Chairman; Comrade VAN.Namboodiri [BSNL /DOT Pensioners Association], Comrade K.Ragavendran [AIPRPA], Comrade D.D.Singh [AIPRPA – Agra] are elected as the Deputy Secretary Generals. Full list of Office Bearers will be placed in the website soon.

It was unanimously decided to participate in the 24.02.2014 Pensioners Dharna at Jantar Mantar by all participating organisations.
