 Next AIPRPA CMC Meeting on 11.10.2020 Sunday at 11.00 A.M

Dear Comrades!

The next Central Managing Committee of AIPRPA CHQ will meet at 11.00 A.M under the presidentship of  CHQ President Comrade D.K.Rahate on 11.10.2020 to transact the under mentioned agenda:

1.      1. Review of implementation of decisions taken in last CMC Meeting held on 13.09.2020.

2.     2.  Review of implementation of TUI Call on 01.10.2020.

3.      3. All India Programme of AIPRPA on sectional issues during October.

4.      4. Organising a WEBINAR on 17.12.2020 by CHQ.

5.      5. Improving the Finances.

6.      6. Pensioners Post.

7.      7. Any other item with the permission of Chair.

The CHQ Advisors and all CHQ Office Bearers and State General Secretaries are requested to attend without fail. We request that the absentees in the last meeting will overcome their difficulties and join the online CMC Meeting this time. The General Secretary will circulate a work report covering all the agenda items to CMC Members by email to facilitate a fruitful discussion in the meeting.

World Pensioners Day and Indian Pensioners Day!

As part of TUI (P&R) and with our responsibility to highlight the rights of pensioners and retirees all over the world, we have observed 1.10.2020. Congratulations to all brave warriors for implementation of the TUI call despite corona pandemic threat.

Indian Pensioners Day is celebrated every year on 17th December to commemorate Comrade D.S.Nakara, who fought to get a milestone judgment in Supreme Court and a concept that pensioners cannot be separated into sections based on artificial dates.

This year "Indian Pensioners Day" on 17.12.2020 will be celebrated by all of us as usual.

To make the day a memorable one, the AIPRPA CHQ proposes to organize a "WEBINAR" for two hours from 4 P.M to 6 P.M on that day. There will be only two presentations. CHQ President will preside and Comrades K.Ragavendran GS AIPRPA and M.Krishnan Ex-SG Confederation will present the speeches. Tamilnadu State GS comrade P.Mohan will deliver vote of thanks.

Topics of presentation will be pensioner related and published later.

 75th Anniversary of WFTU!

Today, the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) completes its 75 years of existence as the only class conscious international trade union organization representing millions of workers and employees in different countries.

Founded on 3rd October 1945 and met with very serious problems including a major split in 1949, the WFTU has established itself as a major center. Despite the set back caused by the temporary collapse of socialist camp, WFTU found ways to reestablish itself in different continents. The formation of various sectoral wise Trade Union Internationals and Regional Conferences as well as concentrating on the real issues confronted by workers under liberalization etc, the WFTU today is a very strong TU International organization.

Sensing the dangers of Pensioners and Retirees in various countries were placed by globalization, WFTU founded a separate TUI for Pensioners & Retirees also in 2014.

We greet the WFTU on its 75th Anniversary! We will march under the WFTU through our TUI ( P&R) towards establishing a society void of human exploitation! Let the WFTU grow from strength to strength through its uncompromising struggle path, Class oriented united line of internationalism!
