DO LETTER TO DIRECTOR CGHS,NEW DELHI ON NON ACCEPTING PATIENTS FOR CASHLESS TREATMENT IN EMPANNALED HOSPITAL AT GUNTUR.

DEAR SIR,

                                         This is regarding non acceptance of pensioner patients in empanelled hospital in Guntur “RAMESH MULTI SPECALITY HOSPITAL”.WE ARE CONSTRAINED TO BRING TO YOUR NOTICE THE PRECARIOUS SITUATION PREVAILING IN GUNTUR CITY DUE TO NON ADMISSION OF CGHS BENIFICIERIES FOR TREATMENT on the plea that the date of empanelment was over.

                                       But actually the date of empanelment of hospitals which was expired by March 31^st was extended up to 30^th June. Even though we have shown the copy of order and intimation by CMO in charge Guntur to the hospital authorities, they are not caring it stating that their bills to the tune of 25 lakhs were pending, hence we are not entertaining. This is a precarious situation because that is the only hospital empanelled in Guntur city. Because of this number of pensioners are facing trouble to get the inpatient cashless treatment and they will not having money to join in any other hospital and get treatment.

                                         The only solution is unless their bills are not cleared they will not patients for cashless treatment. in this back ground you are requested either to clear the bills pending immediately or issue serious instructions to them to admit pensioners and give cashless treatment. Otherwise pensioners who are members of CGHS will be seriously affected.

                                       We expect an early immediate action to solve the problem and help CGHS members particularly pensioners.

An early action and a line in reply is solicited.
